At The Yoga Studio in Hull, we believe that every journey into yoga is deeply personal. That’s why your experience with us is shaped around your individual needs. Whether you’re looking to ease health concerns, find relief from stress and anxiety, or simply reconnect with yourself, our aim is to help you create balance in mind, body, and spirit.
The roots of our studio trace back to 1999, when Ann-Marie Mainprize founded Amiyoga to share yoga and holistic health therapies with the local community. In 2013, she opened The Yoga Studio as a dedicated sanctuary—a place where people could come together to practice yoga, explore wellbeing, and feel truly supported.
Today, our studio offers a rich variety of classes, from Power Yoga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow to Hatha, Dru Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Meditation, Flexibility Improvers, and Yoga for Beginners. Alongside our classes, we host workshops that give you space to dive deeper into your practice and wellbeing.
Through our Yoga Training Academy, we also nurture the next generation of teachers. We provide accredited 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training courses, continuing professional development, and even business coaching to support teachers in building meaningful careers.
Community is at the heart of what we do. We are proud partners of the Humber Recovery Wellbeing College, where we provide free weekly yoga sessions to support mental health and recovery.
